PLUTA provisional administrator seeks investor for LED specialist lichtline
PLUTA Rechtsanwalt Peter Roeger has been appointed provisional insolvency administrator for lichtline GmbH after the company filed for insolvency due to liquidity problems from declining sales. The business continues to operate with 27 employees whose wages are covered by insolvency pay for three months, and efforts are underway to secure advance financing. Roeger and colleague Maximilian Wanko are assessing options to continue operations and restructure, while preparing to seek an investor or buyer to take over and run the business long-term. Company management says it remains committed to finding a solution.
lichtline GmbH has filed for insolvency. On October 20, 2026, the Bayreuth Local Court ordered provisional insolvency administration for the lighting technology specialist and appointed attorney Peter Roeger of PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH as provisional insolvency administrator.
Following his appointment, PLUTA restructuring expert Peter Roeger has already conducted an initial assessment of the company's financial situation. Business operations are continuing. The company employs 27 people, whose salaries are secured through insolvency benefits for three months until the end of December 2026. Advance financing of these benefits is currently being arranged.
Peter Roeger is handling the proceedings together with business lawyer Maximilian Wanko. The insolvency filing was prompted by liquidity difficulties resulting from declining sales.
The provisional administrator is currently evaluating options to maintain business operations in the long term and restructure the company. Discussions with customers are ongoing, and preparations are underway to find a potential investor.

The company's management also remains hopeful that a solution can be found.
