Associations | Organization bodies
The Zhaga Consortium is an open, global lighting-industry organisation that standardises the interfaces of LED luminaire components. Launched in 2010, it publishes the Zhaga Interface Specifications, known as Books, covering electrical, mechanical, optical, thermal and communication interfaces, including Books 18 and 20, the smart interfaces between outdoor or indoor luminaires and sensing and communication modules. Products are certified only after independent testing; together with the DALI Alliance, Zhaga runs the Zhaga-D4i certification. The consortium has more than 600 member companies and is a member programme of IEEE-ISTO.
