The LightCell is a new planar LED light source technology developed by Oree, which is backed by over 30 plus patents in advanced optics, semiconductors and lighting technologies. The LightCell is an ultra-thin system-ready package that enables completely different designs than other well-known conventional LED light sources. It emits uniform color and brightness from its lighting surface and combines the light from individual LED dies, redirecting their radiation through a flat light guide for an efficient and uniform planar emitting pattern. The White LightCellTM efficacy today achieves 80lm/W while providing a high color-rendering index (CRI) 90 -95 for true color reproduction.
