New LED Fireguard - The Latest in Energy Saving and Life Saving Downlights
JCC Lighting has expanded its range of LEDs with the introduction of MG-LED, a series of new Fireguard downlights, plus an addition to the existing MLED range, offering the most comprehensive product choice of low energy fire-rated downlights available on the market.
Ideal for use in commercial or domestic applications, the new MG-LED is a range of downlights that incorporate the latest 7W Megaman GU10 LED lamp, which has a patented LED design and utilises Thermal Conductive Highway (TCH) technology for higher energy savings and lower power consumption compared to a standard downlight.
The range includes a standard fixed downlight, an IP65 rated showerlight and a twist & lock tiltable downlight. With a lamp life of over 20,000 hours and a payback period of eight months, the MG-LED is highly energy efficient and very cost effective. All MG-LED luminaires are 7W, and are available in white, chrome or brushed nickel finishes.
Each downlight in the MG-LED range is available with either cool white or warm white lamp and a 35 degree beam angle, with the cool white LED achieving 40 lumens per circuit watt. The lack of UV means that MG-LED is particularly suitable for lighting heat sensitive displays, and its focused beam angle is superb for accent and display lighting.
JCC has also increased its popular MLED range with the MLED twist & lock downlight. This is available in four variations – cool or warm white and 25 or 40 degree beam angles, with the cool white LED also achieving 40 lumens per circuit watt across the range. The MLED twist & lock has a high output 7W lamp and is available in white, chrome and brushed nickel. Each downlight in the MLED range now represents the direct equivalent of a 50W GU10, and with 40,000 lamp hours you can simply ‘fit and forget'.
