Philips Introduces the Fortimo LED Line 2 Row High Voltage
Philips introduces the Fortimo LED line 2 row high voltage system with 2 rows of LEDs on the module which is designed ─ similarly to the earlier introduced 3R system ─ to produce high efficient, pure white light for general lighting applications where diffuse lighting on the horizontal plane is key.
The 2R LED line system, as well as the other products within the Fortimo LED line family, is characterised by breakthrough high energy efficiency levels. The Fortimo LED line 2R has an energy efficiency of 129 lm/W @ 4000K, clearly surpassing fluorescent lighting systems at the lowest possible cost.
To create a perfect combination between LED module and driver, all products within the Fortimo LED Line family have been designed to be operated with the Xitanium Indoor linear driver portfolio. The portfolio includes isolated and non-isolated drivers in fixed light output, 1-10V and DALI versions. The LED Line 2R system is a high voltage system operated with the non-isolated drivers. Different multiples of LED line modules rising up to 12 can be driven by one driver.
As with all Fortimo modules, the LED line system falls within the Philips future proof promise, where by future LED energy efficiency upgrades do not change the LED line module dimensions, lumen output or colour temperature. The design of the Xitanium drivers is built around operating windows, which ensures the future proofness of the system.
The Fortimo LED Line systems 1R/2R/3R are commercially available.
