Special Products of Tridonic go to Lumitech
In line with Tridonic's intention to focus its LED activities more on general illumination, the company will be transferring the LED product group for illuminating commercial refrigeration units and linear shelf lighting on November 1 to Lumitech Produktion und Entwicklung GmbH, based in Jennersdorf, Austria.
Lumitech has many years of experience in the development of systems for colour-changing LED white light offering high efficiency and excellent colour rendering for illumination and industrial LED applications.
The company will continue and further develop the existing product lines, carry out customisations and bring in its experience in LED technology with a view in further improving the quality of the light. There are also plans to expand the portfolio.
"We are strengthening our LED business for the general illumination sector and are therefore concentrating on the development, manufacture and marketing of appropriate LED modules and converters. But it is also important that we continue to make our successful products for refrigeration unit lighting and linear shelf lighting available to our loyal customers.
