OPTEK TECHNOLOGY SIGNS TWO NEW DISTRIBUTION AGREEMENTS
TT electronics OPTEK Technology has selected NRC Electronics as a global distributor of their complete product offering toprovide the necessary technical support and “on demand” distribution for OPTEK’s optoelectronic sensors and fiber optic devices, along with their visible LED components and assemblies. A new agreement between Farnell and Optek extends to a global basis the successful relationship that the two companies already enjoy in North America with Premier Farnell’s Newark distribution business.
FARNELL SIGNS DISTRIBUTION AGREEMENT FOR OPTOELECTRONICS, LEDS AND SENSORS WITH OPTEK FOR EUROPE AND APAC:
Premier Farnell plc (“Farnell”), the leading multi-channel, high service distributor supporting millions of engineers and purchasing professionals globally, has announced a new distribution agreement with OPTEK Technology. The agreement extends to a global basis the successful relationship that the two companies already enjoy in North America with Premier Farnell’s Newark distribution business.
Under the terms of the new deal, Premier Farnell will offer the full range of OPTEK products, which includes fibre optic technologies, optoelectronic components, visible LEDs and magnetic sensors. These products will be available through Premier Farnell’s local businesses – Farnell in Europe, Premier Electronics in China, and Farnell Newark in the rest of the APAC region.
