ALT Internship Training Program – 7ᵗʰ Term
ALT invites college and graduate students in Taiwan to participate in the 2012 ALT Internship Program, 7ᵗʰ term. We encourage everyone who is environmentally conscious and interested in accumulating international experience to apply.
ALT Internship Training Program consists of 2 main fields: Product Management & Marketing, and International Business. The purpose of this Internship Program is to provide interns opportunities to build up different experiences, in an international environment, from studying in colleges. By participating in this program, interns will not only learn how to promote corporate business but also gain practical training. At the end of the program, outstanding interns will be granted the scholarship based on their performance during the program. Furthermore, those who perform excellently will be eligible to participate in the program next term, as well as be offered a job in the international business marketing department of their local ALT branch, upon returning back to their countries. With the training received in this program, an intern can expect to possess a strong competitive edge in their future careers.
Criteria:
1. College or graduate school students in Taiwan (interns of previous terms are also eligible)
2. Candidates’ field: international business, marketing, applied technology, graphic design, interior design, architecture design as well as other related fields.
3. Fluent in English.
Training Program:
1. Class Venue: 16F-8, No.2, Jian BaRd., Zhonghe Dist., New Taipei City 235, Taiwan (R.O.C.) (The office of Aeon Lighting Technology Inc.)
2. Training Period: Mar. 2012 – June. 2012 (TBA)
3. Total Hours: 150 hrs.
4. Classes will focus on case studies, group discussions, learning about the high power LED industry, planning marketing strategies, practical training, etc.
5. James Liang, CEO of Aeon Lighting Technology Inc., will issue a certificate to interns who complete all required courses.
Benefits:
1. Travel Expense Allowance: NTD 2,500/month (≈USD$80).
2. Scholarship of USD$500 for the outstanding interns.
